Everything started in 2010 where the three founders met at university in Michigan, U.S.A.
After completing their studies together, the 3 women all took different paths in separate countries.
They reunited over a common pain point that they faced through their professional and personal travels: the ache of having to lug their luggage everywhere they went.
Alfred is born as an outcome of all these travels.
Overall, the 3 founders travelled to 60 countries altogether and lived in 7 countries across 3 different continents.
Their complementary skill-sets give them,10 years later, the best set of expertise to achieve Alfred’s mission: to enhance the mobility of worldwide travellers.
Our name is inspired by Batman's butler and reflects our efforts in providing a reliable and a high standard of services.

Paris has 9 million international travellers a year. That represents between 9 to 18 million days of travel lost due to the logistics around luggage.
We currently operate in France. Paris is our main playground and we have the ambition to expand our operations to other locations.
